Kingston SE RV park, on South Australia’s southern coastline, has been through a process of discussing the cost of their Free RV park to the community vs the value it provides.
A great result with council electing to now extend it from a 24 hour stay to 48 hours with a $10 fee to stay for the 2 nights. At $5 a night it’s great value as there is grassed level ground, water, good toilet block, is directly opposite the beach and Jetty and is only a short walk into town.
This is a great result because one option they had was to close it entirely. This is a very small town, so income from rate payers is low and they have to justify the cost of a free RV park.
We look forward to going back again and this time be able to stay a little bit longer 😀
This is a lovely town to stop at, relax by the beach, have a fish from the Jetty and meet some other like minded travellers 😀
This is another Nomad Friendly town which deserves our thanks.
